My name is Holly Worton, and I help authors who are ready to fully embrace online marketing and social media to achieve their business goals. Yes, business goals. Because I believe that your books are a business, and should be treated as such.

Books and writing have always been a huge part of my life. As a child, reading was what I loved most. I later grew up to receive a BA in English and then start an MA program in Spanish, specializing in contemporary Spanish American literature.

I left my MA program just before graduating to start my own company in southeast Mexico. Together with my business partner, we built three boutique eco hotels and from the beginning it was my job to market them. Online marketing was what always worked best for us, and once social networking sites got started we rapidly adopted it as part of our marketing strategy.

After I ceased participating in my hospitality company, I took some time off to re-focus on what I wanted to do. After training in London as a coach and NLP practitioner, I eventually decided to merge my love for social media and marketing with my passion for books.  My background in coaching has helped me immensely, as I am skilled in asking targeted questions to help my clients achieve their business goals.

My mission is to help both traditionally published and self published authors leverage the use of social media to create and build their tribe, or online community. I am also very passionate about assisting traditionally published authors in making the transition to self publishing.
